Job Scope
Lubing USA is looking for an energetic, motivated, and self-managing individual to join our team as a Field Service Technician. The focus of this role will be to lead installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and startup of industrial/agricultural equipment as well as assist with the planning of future projects. Achieving outstanding customer satisfaction is the top priority of this position. The job of a Field Service Technician requires frequent travel to project sites around the country in both horticulture and poultry facilities.
Duties / Responsibilities

- Perform all required on-site activities related to equipment installation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and end user training
- Lead and assist contractors with installations, startups, and troubleshooting
- Identify issues and suggest/implement solutions in the field
- Track and document the progression of installation work
- Run conveyor simulation tools during farm visit to diagnose operational issues and propose solutions
- Review and promote equipment service contract options with customers and assist sales team with establishing these contracts
- Build trusting relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer services
- Travel required approximately 75%+ annually or 40 total weeks
- While not traveling, assist with technical support via phone calls, emails, etc. received from customers or other personnel in the field
- Collaborate closely with the technical/engineering teams
Requirements / Qualification of this Role

- Excellent self-managing, organization, communication, and leadership skills are required
- Prior field service or mechanical assembly experience is required
- Prior experience in poultry or other agricultural industry is a plus
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background preferred
- High-level ability to test, troubleshoot, service, and repair
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must have skills to compose emails and trip reports to include pictures, sketches, etc. taken while onsite
- Experience in all aspects of travel: booking flights, accommodations, rental cars, and tracking expenses
- Good communication skills, ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an agriculture environment including extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, climbing ladders, bending and kneeling
- Ability to adapt to dynamic work schedules, flexible shifts, and ability to travel on short notice
