Overview
The measure of any egg transfer is simply it’s effectiveness to move eggs while minimizing checks and cracks. Checks and cracks are a direct result of how well transfers are set up and adjusted relative to the conveying equipment. Position and angle of the transfer place is critical when allowing the egg to safely travel from one piece of equipment to another.
With all this in mind, our breeder egg transfer unit was developed to make implementation and adjustment easy.

Design and adjustments
Individually injection molded transfer fingers built around a center located shaft help dampen shock loads to the egg at the infeed and outfeed ends while offering an open grid for unwanted debris and waste to fall through.
Designed to eliminate the need for drilling holes in any equipment. The dual mount bar design easily snaps on to the curve conveyor sidesheet and can be positioned in any location along the side sheet length.
By turning the threaded thumb screws, the horizontal support bar can be raised and lowered to achieve the needed height of the transfer fingers.
Side split clamp blocks with quick tightening handles allow the transfer bed to slide independent of the horizontal support bar, setting the distance to and from the nest table and cross conveyor.
Thumb screws lock in the pitch angle of the fingers to control the speed of the egg during the transfer.
